For group projects students are graded separately based on their individual work as well as their contribution to the group project.

  • B− to B+ = 80–89
  • C− to C+ = 70–79
  • D− to D+ = 60–69
  • F = below 60

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Prompt attendance is mandatory. You must contact the professor before class for any special circumstances resulting in your absence. Only absences due to illness, family emergency or religious observance will be accepted as an excused absence. If you are sick, you must email the professor before class begins. You are responsible for any work missed.

  • You are allowed only one unexcused absence over the course of the semester.
  • Two unexcused absences will lower your final grade by a full grade.
  • Three unexcused absences constitutes failure of the class.
  • Two tardies equals one unexcused absence. Arriving more than five minutes late constitutes a tardy.
